The idea for Where2Live came from my own experience when my family and I moved to Perth. We were new to the city and knew very little about its suburbs. Like many people, I spent hours looking through property listings, trying to work out where we should live. It was time-consuming and frustrating.
Then I realised I was starting in the wrong place. Before looking for a property, I first needed to find the right suburb.
As someone new to Perth, suburb names didn't mean much to me. I wanted to know which areas suited our budget, lifestyle, and needs, but the information was spread across different websites and wasn't easy to compare. So I started bringing the data together and using it to filter suburbs that matched what we were looking for.
What used to take hours and hours of research became a shortlist in minutes.
That experience led to the creation of Where2Live. The goal is simple: help people find the suburbs that fit their needs first, so they can spend less time searching and more time finding the right property.
